Warmaster Edition sees Sespe Creek Distillery co-owner, Josh Barnett, applying his profound passion for and knowledge of whiskey into the creation of rare, one-of-a-kind releases. And if you know Warmaster, you know that nothing he does is anything less than the heaviest of metal.

Each release is an intensive, hands-on collaboration between Warmaster and our Master Distiller, John Campbell. Which is basically a fancy way of saying Warmaster spends a few days drinking every barrel at the distillery with John until he finds - or blends - a whiskey he loves.

Launched in 2019, there have been 9 single barrel releases to date, and - the most recent - one blended barrel release, bottled in late 2024.
